Plan now to come out to the IPMS/USA sanctioned show for a full day of some of the best scale models around! In addition to the model display and contest, there will also be raffles and a vendor area to help you get a head start on next years entries. Snacks and drinks will also be available on site.

"Out For Delivery" Theme Awards

Theme: The theme for this event is "Out For Delivery" in which we are looking for entries that depict the delivery of major logistics. Theme awards will be given to the best military and civilian entries that meet IPMS/USA construction and finishing standards.   

To qualify for this theme award, the entry must represent a subject, military or civilian, that has as its primary purpose the transportation of LARGE quantities of fuel, food, cargo, spare parts, or people.   Examples would include a Spanish Galleon, WWII Liberty ship, FedEx/UPS delivery aircraft, trains, Semi trucks and the  space shuttle.  Pick-up trucks, vans, cars and similar sized vehicles will not qualify for this award.  A model's  configuration and markings will be considered in     determining eligibility.  For instance, a   C-47 or C130 Hercules would qualify, but the gunship versions of these aircraft would not.

Other Special Awards

• BEST MODEL BUILT BY A VETERAN: Due to the overwhelming response to this award last year, all entrants will be limited to a single entry.  Thank you to everyone for your tremendous support.
• BEST KIT-BASHED GUNDAM: For this award you must combine any Gundam kit with one or more kits (additional kits do not have to be Gundam related) into a single model.
• BEST PATTON TANK: This award is for U.S. ARMY tanks referred to by the "Patton" name and includes all variants from the M-66, through and including the M-60.
• BEST RAILROAD SUBJECT: This award is for all railroad related subjects, from their origins to the present time.  Military and armored trains will be considered for the award, along with civilian trains.
• BEST ICM MODEL: ICM models has graciously donated our special raffle items this year.  In honor of this partnership, we have a special category for entries that are based on the series of ICM kits that are currently available.  To enter this award category, proof must be supplied that the kit is an ICM kit.  This can be done by supplying the instructions with your entry.

Please remember that you have to log your special awards for each entry on the appropriate sheet located near the registration desk.
